Program

Day 1: Mendoza, Wonderful City

We will be waiting you at the airport or bus station of Mendoza. Our guide will welcome you and we will transfer you to the hotel selected for check-in. In the afternoon we will have a view of the most important places of the beautiful Mendoza, city developed with very particular urban details, such as the open ditches, the width of sidewalks and avenues and the installation of the squares that adorned it. We will know the Frank Romero Day amphitheater, scenario where every year takes place the already world-renowned National Vintage Festival; the beautiful park General San Martin, green lung of the city of 420 hectares, it is home to over 300 species of flora which was the work of the great french landscape architect Carlos Thays; the monument to the army of Los Andes located on the Summit of the Cerro de la Gloria, and the zone or Founding Area of Mendoza, a walk made up Pedro del Castillo square (in tribute to who founded the city in 1561) and the Franciscan ruins (temple built in 1731); among other places. Night in Mendoza.

Day 2: The Leoncito National Park

Check-out and prepare to start our trip to the mountainous town of Barreal, in San Juan. The tour starts by the International Route 7, corridor linking Argentina with Chile and placed in the center of Los Andes, discovering huge hills and clumps in a dance of brown, red and blue crowned with eternal snows. Once in Barreal we will stay at the chosen accommodation. The town of Barreal is renowned for its comfortable climate, the friendly people and the purity of its air, its leafy avenues and the beauty of its mountainous nature. In the afternoon we will live one of the highlights of the tour, as we travel to the Leoncito National Park, a unique place in the world for its airy sky that has become a worldwide attraction. We found there and observatory Astronomical Complex El Leoncito, one of the most important in Argentina. We will make a whale of stars in the famous Pampa del Leoncito, a dry plateau about 14 km long and 5 wide, which is the bottom sediments of an ancient lake basin. The landscape is extravagant, radiant white. No shrubs or mounds, only a flat floor with cracks pentagon shaped geometric accurately reproduced. Here we can admire millions of stars with a unique clarity. Also enjoy a toast on this wonderful sky. After the sighting, we return to our accommodation. Night at Barreal.

Day 3: A trip to the Prehistory

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we check - out at our hotel and then continue walking the Leoncito National Park. This park in its more 85,000 hectares, has a strange landscape, where the scarcity of vegetation and the widest range of colors of their soils make your visit a delightful experience. We will know the endless variety of landforms from the Triassic Period, which lie in the park surprising us with their sizes, colors, textures and shapes. Learn about the geology of the place, its age-old process of creation and of course we will experience mixed feelings to introduce us to the story of the first inhabitants of this land, the dinosaurs. Making this journey to the ends of the history of our planet, we will rethink the meaning of humanity on our planet, understanding that transcends nature and progresses silently over all boundaries of our existence. After the journey we will back to our accommodation to collect our bags and move to the city of San Juan. Night in San Juan

Day 4: Boutiques Wineries in San Juan

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we pick you up to start a visit to two emblematic wineries of the wine roads of San Juan, area where the emblem is the syrah varietal. We will visit the facilities of the first winery and our guide will teach us about the production of different types of grapes, systems Vine Training, development processes and of course taste the goodness of its wines.
The second visit will be a boutique winery, so called because they produce small amounts of wine bottles but exclusive and high-end. Here we will share a talk on tasting techniques and taste the wines of our hosts. After the visit we return to the hotel. When you tell us, we will transfer from the hotel to the airport or bus station in San Juan. Farewell.
