Argentina is a very active gay destination with a vibrant community. Apart from this, it marches in the vanguard as regards claiming for the recognition of people’s rights without distinction of religion, skin color or sexual orientation.
The province of Mendoza, located at the foot of Los Andes Mountain Range, is known, together with Buenos Aires, as one of the most gay friendly places and it has become one of the new favorite destination for the gay community that visits South America.
Mendoza is also the birth place of the best Argentinean Wines. This together with the hospitality of its people and the imposing landscapes make of Mendoza a delicious place.
For many years, Mendoza has celebrated its mother industry, viticulture, with a great show called Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia (National Vintage Festival), that has become an international icon due to its display (more than one thousand dancers and actors on the scene), colors and the imposing frame of where it takes place. All these make of the night show a great and unforgettable experience.
And, as it must be in an open city like Mendoza, the Gay National Vintage Festival has been celebrated here for fourteen years now, with all the pride that this means and represents.
This is a unique event in the world that takes place the same night of the Traditional Vintage Festival (after it), and it attracts people from all over the world, not only of the gay community, but also of friendly people with open mind that want to enjoy an amusing and unequalled night full of glamour and color. More than 200 dancers, actors and celebrities act on the scene, opening the night with a great show that rescues the combination of wine with gay pride. Then the time for the election of the Vintage king and Queen comes, among more than 20 beautiful and handsome participants, a very moving moment of the night. After the elected King and Queen are crowned free rein is given to a party dominated by joy and amusement, that finishes at the beginning of the new day.
We invite you to participate in this unequalled party and experience in this cool land of Argentinean wines. Friendly territory by nature.
