Welcome to the Patagonia paradise in Neuquén province, birthplace of the Southern most wines in the world. This region surprises you with its impressive nature, endless scenery of proposals that invite you to discover captivating treasures.

One of these treasures are the World Southernmost vineyards, in the area of San Patricio del Chañar (Near the city of Neuquén). This area is within a charming landscape with ideal climate conditions for the elaboration of sparkling wines, principally from the Semillon stock. Other varieties like the Pinot Noir and Merlot reach a balance that make us remember the European wines.

The second treasure that this rich region has to surprise us and that we invite you to share is the area known as “Estepa de los Dinosaurios” (Dinosaurs Steppe), characterized by the most incredible paleontological discoveries which are reconstructed, exhibited and represented at various museums and theme parks.

This land, distinguished narrator of the furthest past, invites us to enjoy  a unique cultural and challenging experience discovering pre-historic secrets.

Program

Day 1: We will be waiting for you at the airport or at the bus-station of Neuquén city. Our guide will welcome you and take you to the hotel selected for your check-in. This same day, we will visit the most important places of the city, like museums, art expositions and art galleries that discover in this city an interesting cultural space where history and expression are protagonists.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. Then, we will go to San Patricio del Chañar to visit the selected wineries. In this area, we find the most prestigious vineyards of the Patagonia and many of the wineries that make wines recognized at an international level. In the morning, we will walk along the winery facilities and our guide will teach us about the wines of Southern latitudes, its elaboration processes and the conduction systems of the vine. We will also share a talk about tasting techniques and taste the wines of our hosts. Finally, we will enjoy lunch within the grounds of the winery. In the afternoon we will continue our tour visiting the other selected wineries. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will pick you up and take you to El Chocón to visit the Paleontological Museum and places that host pre-historical fossils, which are unique in the world. Later, in the afternoon, we will go to Barreales Lake to see the dinosaur’s mega- excavations. The fossils found in this place reveal that this is a very rich paleontological field that dates back to 90 million years. Then, we return to the hotel. Farewell and end of our services.
