The Uco Valley presents the peculiarity of having the highest vineyards in the world, right at the Andean foot-hill, and one of the most charming viticulture landscapes. Undoubtly, this landscape awakens sensations.
This fertile oasis is situated in the center of Mendoza Province and it dazzles with its mountain landscapes and natural beauties. Great protagonists of the wine industry, like the French Michel Rolland, The Rothschild and Dassault families, the French winemaker Jaques Lurton, the Dutch family Salentein or the Spanish Ortega Fournier, have established Argentinean subsidiaries in this vine growing privileged region.
The Uco Valley is a fertile and charming region surrounded by panoramic beauties and watched over from the highs by the giant Tupungato Volcano and the majestic El Plata Mount. With its colorful fruits, picturesque vineyards, direct contact with the mountain, clean sky and clear water courses going through all its territory, the Uco Valley has turned into an attractive touristic place where you can enjoy the most pure serenity, also having the possibility of awakening your adrenaline by practicing challenging adventure tourism activities.
Many of the tourists that have visited this place said that they felt as if they had been at the Napa Valley of 25 years ago. Stay at rural farms or excelent urban accommodations, tastings of the best wines, amazing days in the open air, delight of delicious gastronomic specialties , sightseeing and the omnipresent serenity provide a special frame to meet yourself again, to meet the others and to enjoy new sensations.
Day 1: We will be waiting for you at the airport or at the bus station of Mendoza city. Our guide will welcome and immediately take you to the Uco Valley, situated at 80km to the South. Once you arrive at the selected accommodation, we check you in. This same day, we will do our first visit to a winery. We will go round the building and our guide will teach us about Mendoza wines, its elaboration processes and the vine conduction systems. We will also share a talk about tasting techniques and taste the wines of the winery. Return to the hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will pick you up to make a private tour to one of the most important and prestigious wineries of the region: Familia Salentein. This visit includes a horse-riding around the farms surrounding the winery, also being able to walk among the vineyards that give birth to these prestigious wines. At midday, we will enjoy a delicious lunch with a three courses menu. Then we will make an exclusive tour called “Architecture Tour”. This includes a visit to the entire architectonical complex, starting at the Capilla de Gratitud (Gratitude Chapel), then the winery museum called Killka and the impressive winery, finishing with a courtesy toast. During this tour, we will receive an explanation of the architecture of every space and its symbolism, the landscaping, the art at Killka and a brief history of architecture evolution at the wineries in Mendoza. This amazing day will finish with photographs and souvenirs as presents. Return to the hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. The same morning, we will enjoy either an adventure or an open air activity that you will have chosen. Once you finish it, we go back to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will go back to Mendoza city. Once you let us know, we will take you from the hotel to the airport or the bus-station. Farewell and end of our services.
